The Artists...

Artist applications were juried by a panel to find a group of talented artists in the following mediums: painting, photography, print making, sculpture, pottery, fiber arts, glass arts, woodworking and jewelry.  The selection process is very difficult and the 2004 festival committee would like to congratulate all the Artists who were selected this year.  Click here for a list of artists participating in this year's festival.

Entertainment ...

BOBBY ALLISON
This will be Bobby Allison's third year headlining and emceeing Art in the Pass.  His soothing voice and diverse collection of songs has been a crowd-pleaser and the festival is happy to welcome him back.

Bobby Allison, singer and songwriter, has enjoyed a professional career that has spanned over 30 years.  Like many performers, Bobby "paid his dues" at various venues.  In 1988, his hard work was rewarded with recording credits and a contract with CBS/Epic records as a result of winning the "True Value Country Showdown," to date, the worlds largest Country Music Talent Contest!  "Baby It's Because of You" co/written with his wife Ernestine, was released by Epic Records in February 1988 and received national airplay, much along the Gulf Coast.

These days you can find Bobby at "Casino Magic" in Bay St. Louis Mississippi Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturdays, where he has had the pleasure of performing for afternoon audiences from 12 noon to 4:00 PM. for the last Eight Years. Allison continues to write songs and produce his own recordings. His collection of cassette tapes and a new CD project, "1 Memory Lane", will be available at the festival.  The CD is an eclectic ensemble of songs, many familiar favorites and some fresh originals.

PERFORMING ARTS
Bobby will be joined by some very special guests this year.  The Pass Christian High School and Middle School Choirs, led by David Chavers will kick off the festival Saturday morning.  Students from the Diane Desportes Dance Academy will perform on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm at the gazebo.
The Ocean Springs Cloggers led by Ms. Julie Black will perform Saturday at 3:30 pm.
